Trey Carnley
Director of Mortuary Services
Trey Carnley is a dedicated funeral service professional with deep roots in East Texas. Originally from Neches, Texas, Trey has called Tyler home since 2009. He began his career in funeral service as a cemetery caretaker and funeral assistant with Herrington Funeral Home in Palestine, where he developed a strong foundation in compassionate care and attention to detail.
After relocating to Tyler, Trey expanded his experience in the field by working in transport services with Lighthouse Mortuary. He graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in June 2023, further strengthening his knowledge and commitment to the profession. Throughout his career, he has been committed to serving funeral homes across East Texas and Coast to Coast as well as assisting the Justice’s of the Peace for Smith County, providing dependable, respectful, and professional support to families and colleagues alike during their most difficult times.
Trey has been supported and encouraged by a strong foundation at home. He has been married to his wife, Jennifer, since 2013, whose encouragement and support have been a constant source of strength. Together, they are blessed with four children Katie, Lyndzie, Gracelynn, and Kolton—who bring joy, purpose, and perspective to his life. Trey values the time he spends with his family and is committed to leading by example, instilling in his children the importance of compassion, integrity, and service to others.
